Specialist care. From the inside out.
Most of our work starts with a home that has had cavity wall insulation installed. We investigate how moisture enters, moves and becomes trapped—then recommend the right combination of repairs.
Cavity wall insulation extraction
Wet or poorly installed insulation can bridge the cavity and carry moisture into your home.
What we do: We inspect the cavity, remove failed insulation using specialist extraction equipment and check the cavity is clear.
Helps restore the cavity’s moisture barrier and supports a drier home.
Damp proof courses & membranes
Persistent damp needs the source identified before any treatment is specified.
What we do: Where appropriate, we install remedial damp proof courses and membranes, alongside repairs to the underlying moisture source.
Long-term protection for internal surfaces, with a clear plan for drying out.
Ventilation systems
Stale, humid air can contribute to condensation and mould.
What we do: We assess airflow and recommend suitable ventilation, including PIV or MVHR where appropriate to the property.
Better moisture control and fresher indoor air, with energy use considered.
Brickwork & pointing repairs
Damaged mortar and brickwork can let rain penetrate the building fabric.
What we do: We repair defective brickwork and repoint vulnerable areas using suitable materials.
A weather-resistant exterior that helps keep moisture outside.
External & internal waterproofing
Water ingress can affect exposed walls, below-ground spaces and vulnerable junctions.
What we do: We trace entry points and specify appropriate waterproofing systems and associated repairs.
Targeted protection instead of simply covering up damp patches.
Full house health surveys & energy assessments
Recurring damp and high bills often need a whole-house view.
What we do: We inspect the external envelope, damp-proof course, cavity walls, internal moisture and loft insulation, including eaves detailing. Your written report includes photographic evidence and moisture readings where relevant, prioritised repairs, fixed prices and a formal Domestic Energy Assessment by a qualified DEA.
Understand priorities, remedial options and practical ways to reduce heat loss.
